Missing Manuscripts (February 2012)

In "The Greatest Lost Books" (page 26), you read about Homer's Margites, the lost books of the Bible, and Jane Austen's Sanditon--all books that, over the course of history, have gone missing. We're pretty sure Austen-ites would do anything to get their hands on Sanditon (especially if Colin Firth plays the male lead in the movie edition). If you could discover a lost book, what would it be? Book Eight of the Harry Potter series? Lord of the Rings: The Hobbit's Conquest? Betty Crocker's long-lost Pies and How to Toss Them?

Hi!

I'm Cecilia, and I love you Muse! I'd love to discover Lord of the Rings: The Hobbit's Conquest! I've read the 3 books, watched the movies, read the prequal: The Hobbit, and I'm going to watch it's movie when it comes out in December, 2012! I <3 Lord of the Rings!

I <3 Muse even more!

Cecilia C.

P.S. I also love all the Muses, especially Ko <3

Hey there, Muses,

I would love to discover a book on how to tame a hot pink bunny. That would very useful, wouldn't it? Or I would love to discover the next book in Kristin Cashore's series. I love, love, love her books Frie and Gracling.I think her next book is called Bitterblue, right? Anyway, I <3 all of the books in the world. If you walk into my classroom, i will always have my nose in a book. I am currently reading Pathfinder by Orson Scott Card. He is another AMAZING author!!!

I would love to find a book about pi and pie.  Pi is my favorite number (I have memorized 40 digits so far) and and I love to throw and eat pie (Kokopelli is my favorite Muse).  One book about these to things together would be the greatest boook of all time "bwa ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha."

I would to but it really wouldn't make since because Hogwarts only provides school for 7 years so there can only be seven books. Also Harry grew up in book 7 so even if he had a eighth year it would have already passed.  It could be about harry's sons and daughters, but then it wouldn't be a harry potter book.  Face it the awesome Harry Potter series is done.

I am allowed to find a magical book? If so, I'd like a book that has every book that exsist (and some that don't), that appear at my will.

A fourth book (and maybe even a fifth...) for the Howl's Moving Castle series by Diana Wynne Jones. That would be awesome! And then, while I'm at it, more books in the Chrestomanci Chronicles...
