Are You a Homer? (September 2011)
Homing pigeons have a remarkable ability to find their way home, even from hundreds of miles away. Plenty of other animals also display impressive navigational skills, migrating hundreds or thousands of miles over land or across the ocean. But most of us humans aren't as adept as a monarch butterfly or a humpback whale. How about you? Do you get lost every time you leave the house? Or are you a champion orienteer?

I'm okay at finding my way home- but only if I know where I am.

I am terrible with finding my way home. As soon as I was able to memorize the route home from my elementary school, I went to middle school where my bus driver takes a different route every day.

I am not very familiar with the city, but I recognize stuff pretty well around my house, and can navigate in that area. Apart from that I am easily lost.

NO SENSE OF DIRECTION!!!
(October 23, 2011 - 1:09 pm)
I only have to go a place once, and then I remember how to get there. Kind of crazy isn't it. I rely on landmarks.
