NovemberDecember 2009
Do you ever have a hard time getting your point across? Maybe your teachers ignore your genius insights, and your brother yells louder than you at the dinner table. This issue of Muse is all about the difficulty--and wonder--of communication. Conversation is tough when you're a parrot, although you'll eventually learn to say the hardest words in the English language: "I'm sorry!" It's easy to text a secret to your friend, but what if you had to run every message by a telegraph operator? And watch out for your personal pronouns--we discover that people who use more "you's" than "I's" may have better health.
In other Muse news, Harry Potter changed the life of imaginative Muse reader Abby Muller. What's changed YOUR life? Submit your story to next month's Muserology.
Head over to the MUSEum to applaud the winners of the immigration contest, and let your imagination run wild (and feral) in our new contest!
