Thinking in Pictures

January 2010

Temple Grandin (page 14 of the January Muse) has an amazing ability to think in pictures and to translate the pictures in her mind into precise drawings. Using your own amazing mind, design the perfect home for yourself. Draw a blueprint of that home--or of a clever invention inside. When we asked Feather to try this project, he drew a programmable doughnut maker. And we're pretty sure Crraw's blueprint is an elaborate tree house, but it's hard to tell, since he draws with his pen in his beak.

    Contest Rules:

    1. Your contest entry must be your very own original work. Ideas and words should not be copied.
    2. Be sure to include your name, age, and full address on your entry.
    3. Only one entry per person, please.
    4. If you want your work returned, enclose a self-addressed, stamped envelope.

    6. Your entry must be received by January 31, 2010. We will publish winning entries in the May/June 2010 issue of Muse.
