I think of all the tricks I know
This is the one I’d like to show.
You take a quarter and some glue
(Oh, and you need a sidewalk, too)
So you take the quarter and you glue it on
To the sidewalk, now here’s the con:
A person walks up while you hide
When he sees the quarter he’ll be tongue-tied.
A quarter! A quarter! Just lying on the ground,
No one who could’ve dropped it, nobody around!
He’ll try to pick it up, but try as he might
He will not be able to (the coin is stuck tight!).
But the best thing about this trick is
You can do it again, and in show biz.
You can stick it on a table or stick it on a cup
And let people try to pick it up.
But as always, try as they might,
They’re not able to (the coin is stuck tight!).
