Larklight

by Philip Reeve

Larklight is a book about the adventures of Art Mumby and his sister Myrtle. They live in nineteenth century england, but with a twist: they live in a giant house, orbiting the earth. In the universe this book takes place in, Isaac Newton discovered space flight instead of calculus. The plot of the story goes like this: The Evil silver spiders from the far past are qattacing Art and Myrtle's house, so they escape to the moon. There, they meet Jack Havock and his crew. Exciting adventures ensue. There's a sequel called Starcross, but I won't give everything away.

I've read the whole series and it's so cool!!! There's 2 more books, Starcross and Mothstorm, that come after it. I haven't read any of his other books yet.

P.S. The Tentacle Twins rock!!!

I really liked Larklight too. I thought it was very humorous and I also liked the way everybody was British. Keep on orbiting, Larklight!
