County Library: Fiction

Anastasia Krupnik

by Lois Lowry

This book is great! Anastasia goes through normal experiences like any other 10-year-old, but always has a smart and funny take on things. If you like this book, there are a whole series of Anastasia books going through her teenage years.

I agree this book is really funny. I also like the other ones in the series. However, Anastasia Krupnik is a short read, which is a little annoying, as you want to read more.

I thought the book was a great read, but I didn't know there were more in the series. Thanks for telling me!!!!My fav. part was her visit to her father's "Exremely boring"poetry class. It was funny how Lois described the atmosphere of and the students in Mr.Krupnik's class.I look forward to reading the rest of the books in the series!

I liked Number the Stars too, and would also recommend The Giver.

If you liked The Giver, i would reccomend the Uglies series. Its similar, and in my opinion, much better. :)
